So I tried to update my blog while I was gone--honestly.
Step 1-I forgot my camera cord the night before I was leaving and was not able to run back to my apt. to get it.
Step 2- I decided not to take my laptop, as I wanted to carry on my two bags and a laptop would make it more difficult.
Step 3-I thought I could update on my phone. WRONG! For some reason, all I could update was the title (see last post).
So, to anyone who actually was hoping for an update from me, I am sorry. I urge you, as I am sure we are Facebook friends, to check out my pictures there.
If anyone really wants to know how it went, feel free to e-mail me and I am more than happy to talk of England, Scotland and Ireland all day!
One week? Really? I can't even believe it. I am in shock.
There is still so much to do! I have to pack and arrange everything to be ready . . . my mind is already having trouble focusing on work, thank goodness I have this one week of school off before I have to study again!
My heart and mind are already in London.
This next week of work is going to be horrible.
So my baby sister saw a clock tower yesterday, pointed to it and said, "Look, Sissy! It's Big Ben!" I found that to be the cutest thing I've ever heard and I was rather happy. I have apparently spoken of Big Ben so much that my three-year-old sister knows that Big Ben is a clock. She is way too smart.
I leave in two weeks and counting. I don't think I have ever been more excited for anything in my entire life!
I have 44 days until my flight leaves for London. I have fewer than 40 to get the remaining $3300 for my trip. I am slightly nervous, yet confident that I can get the funds necessary in time.
The Clash had it right when they said, "London's Calling!" I am feeling the call and the rest of the semester is going to be difficult as my mind travels across the pond to foggy London town!

We had our orientation today. It was really exciting to meet the other 25 people going on the trip with me. I was able to make a friend and pick a roommate, too!
I have two months to get over $4,000.00! Life is going to be stressful until then, but I know this trip will be worth it.
Have I mentioned I am really excited to be going? REALLY.
Today I received my acceptance notification for the London Eye program!
I am very excited to be OFFICIALLY going now.
